Exactly one week left before the Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wards tournament in Ipoh, well not really one week since we need to get through qualifier. And I haven't really train up since then, not really confident about it, but I expect a nice show from my fellow comrades.

Year 2008

Almost the end of year 2008, not to conclude anything, but let me just list something important on this year.
First year of degree semester 1, not really good not really bad, but it is bad to have some holiday mood classmates.

My birthday, thanks my friends for going out a while with me to cover up my disappointment. Quite sad because she "forgotten" about my birthday maybe... Or can say didn't appear on that day. But, she is not obligated to remember anyway, I ain't the special one.

CELGames 2008, I become the first Malaysian ever to win Singapore champion Ravana.
WCG 2008, I got 5th place in my first debut in the World Cyber Games.

Failure, I failed much... I am still not up to standard overall or good enough overall to make Ping have feelings towards me, although I've been trying to be good for 3 years.. and 3 years half until now when I am typing this. Nevertheless, can't really do anything, if she actually feels she likes it that way, if there is miracle, I hope the miracle to happen on this really.

Ping's birthday, I got something that maybe she would like to have for her present, hope she really likes it anyway.

STPM, Ping's exam finally over... Marking an end of 7 years for her in SMKTD... With much of her memories in there...

And, did I miss out something? Yes, definitely much that I missed... But then just in the moment, I somehow want to cry... But yet I can't as usual... Who can I really share with?

Introductory Business Concepts

Short for IBC, I realize that we need to study all those god damn endless useless stuff that has nothing to do with the word "Business"... Including criminal law, health and safety that should be the resposibility for those VIP in our country, abbreviation for Very Important Person, or in Malaysia for true to be "Very Important Pigssssss"... Yes, with many ssssss...

Week 14

Number always makes something very normal into something very unique, such as area to be added 51 into Area 51, and it represents an alien site in the U.S of the by god A. Here we got week, plus 14, into Week 14 aka E-week, to be misinterpreted as Entertainment Week and to be true Exam Week...

That's right, exam Semester 1 is imminent. Here, I wish my kiasi and kiasu friends out there, all the best.

Testing out N95... And just to feel something I can't have

Quite hazy condition... But still stand out compare to the rest of the others, especially those who so fancy with JJ and Sony Ericsson...

I know.. I am just nothing.. I forever won't get what I like what I want... But I respect those who worth it...

I haven't update anything since December 6, which is quite a long period. However, just to tell that there are just too much things that I came across...

And... I just need some really true friend to tell with if possible... and NO, not my family which you all may suggest. Because I am the most useless and most stupid in my family, they won't really give a damn on what I say or what I want.

I think... I got some problem for dreaming something weird, weird until I don't even know if I know those people in my dream, possibly I don't know at all...
And to put that away first, because next week there is a list of things that I need to do, such as prepare present for SP, DTA Assignment, Presentation, and study for IBC and DTA exam... and worst thing is, seems not really related although there is a link. And my personal case, emotionally disturbing... I can't really get that over with... I am not confident to say we can be good, but instead I say I can always keep up with what I can to let you feel better towards it, and you can be confident with yourself about us.

Christmas Present, maybe I still don't have one this year

I am just a bit too nervous maybe... But I am serious and sincere with you, I didn't play around the feelings with you for 3 years... I know I may be too far away to be what you want, but what I know is I love you, to be true. Can we tell out what's between us? We can be happy as others right?

So sorry if I actually hurted you or ruined your emotion, I apologize. But really hope we could have a chance, and a better Christmas this year and forever.

Piano and Drum

Ahhh... Music instrument, Piano and Drum have always been my favorite.
First, let's see, Piano can actually play a nice piece of music on its own, but drum plays great role in the beat.
Here comes the story, Drum in loves with Piano. Everytime in the concert, Drum supports Piano performance, Drum feels very happy with that, and this condition has been continued for 3 series of World Tour Concert. Finally, at the most recent series of World Tour, final station in Malaysia, Piano rejected Drum's confession. Drum although sad, but understand Drum is just a Drum, too simple... But Piano need someone that learned musical notes, and can play Piano as if it is the player is speaking him/herself.
But no matter how, Drum hides up his emotion, and continue to play the beats for Piano, until the Drum spoiled one day and to be replaced...

And yes, I didn't master piano as expected... I can't play To Zanarkand on my own, can't play Secret, can't play any Chopin's or Beethoven or Mozart or Bach or anyone you prefer... There, I admit, there is no limitation, but there is definitely something where you need to do with extra effort with little or no results when the others can.

Type R anyone?

Ok, the title suggests it all... But first, let start with some latest news.
With now currently December, the 2009 Honda City going to be launched soon. With all new features and looking, powered up with SOHC i-VTEC 1.5L (L15A) engine, that is indeed a good choice for all with adequate budget, no longer need to suffer from those eyesore "Dugong" aka Toyota Vios.
However, China get something that is far more interesting than the rest of the world. Their 2009 Honda City that is going to be launched 12 December 2008 soon, will not only feature those mentioned and throughout the world, instead they come with 2 variants. The other special variant that only available in China will be SOHC i-VTEC 1.8L, that is being used in Honda Civic 1.8S. With 140HP on a much more lighter Honda City, it will be sure that it is a lot of fun and feelings. If it is available in Malaysia, well... you could imagine.
Sigh... Still.. Who don't like a Type R when they can? I certainly want it so dead...

A far far dream

With the current situation happening around the globe, it is getting difficult and difficult for us to pursue a great wealth and health like before, don't even imagine how will the next generation do, for it will going to be lesser and going to be none in the near future. This is quite a personality from my friend, Charles... Although sounds like selfish, but actually well... Who doesn't? But then this better to take notice when only you try what other's says... Typically, I think he is good in everything which I have nothing to say.

Finally, I've done the modification of UCP Assignment Part A Access... Well, left stupid documentation.
And recently didn't sleep well, but then somehow yesterday tired like no before, and I had dream... Well, hope that dream comes true, that's all I can say and hope. Will it be?

I hate... UCP... and the lecturer herself... Giving RM10 but expect 10USD from students...
And... May goddess of luck stand by my side, providing me with all the luck I needed to complete all task at hand successfully. All until my ultimate goal for her...

Everything is coming soon... Assignment due date, exam, new semester.... And not to forget the day of reckoning for me, sad sad... And then something that should be nice which is Christmas, but I sense my Christmas this year won't be any better than all the 19 years I came across... Always disappointed... Graphic Card... finally

Well, for my dear XFX 8800GTS XXX Edition 320MB, seems like serving me well throughout much time... But recently has fallen sick due to heavy job of RA3... Don't worry, I won't let you down, I won't stress you out like what my friend did to his poor 9800GTX and HD4870. Sigh.. financial crisis eh... I can't afford another one, I ain't any champion anyway, I don't have good Internet to train, and I never get anything new...

This year Christmas and holiday....

To all dearest idiot

Lately, with the release of the newly invented Campro CPS (Cam Profiling Cam Profile Switching) engine by Proton and Lotus, but somewhat Lotus said to be "cheap solution", but Proton claimed to be new technology, to be installed in various Proton cars such as Gen-2, Waja, and also coming soon Satria Neo.
Apparently for now, Waja has the highest tuning with 125HP with new Campro CPS DOHC 1.6 engine...
And you guessed it, those idiots think it is "Proton VTEC".. and bought it and started to challenge Vios 1.5 DOHC VVT-i and City 1.5 SOHC VTEC... Well, it is not really they can lead or even lead during pickup... Well, this is Proton... and there is a reason why Proton survives other than taxing foreign cars, because there are too much ah-beng idiots...
Anyhow, we must praise Proton for the CPS improvement... Since the original Campro was disaster... Where Proton claimed it was for sport car purpose during release that time, the Campro engine torque only effective starting 4200 RPM.... That makes many people with manual transmission need to shift between 2nd and 3rd gear much during uphill.. And you can imagine, auto transmission.. Just need to floor the pedal, and here gone their invested money in Campro believed to be saving fuel.
This CPS improvement works with VIM (Variable Inlet Manifold), consisting of 2 different length intake manifold, 1 short and 1 long. The VIM uses the long manifold during low to mid speed cruising and short manifold at high speed, where Proton believes long manifold allows slower air flow, achieving better fuel mix; while short manifold allows faster air flow that benefits higher RPM. The VIM switches at 4800RPM, while the CPS switches profile at 3800RPM, and the CPS uses a trilobite camshaft to switch between 2 profiles, one low valve lift cam profile and one high valve lift cam profile.
There goes the answer, why people say it is "Proton VTEC", cam lifting ma... But then they dream too soon to think they achieved what Honda VTEC can do in such a short time... Honda VTEC technology does have a reason behind it, why it is being the King of N.A (Naturally Aspirated), where many current new CPS supporter doesn't know. But then so be it, when you can't get something, get half of that will be happy enough, don't we?

Works need to be done at a glance

So, I have a stupid documentation for MS Access, and also for the web design. Which I already estimated to be around 30 pages.
Besides that, I have the IBC assignment to be hand in on Monday, but finished.
Furthermore, I still have the web page to be done which I hate and lazy to touch.
And not to forget, to add some "advanced" query modification for MS Access.
Lastly, waiting for stupid yet guessed to be difficult DTA assignment.
And finally, sigh~~... It's not really exam that bothers me, but then... Ping... One week gone, another week coming and all the best... And also here comes nearer and nearer to the day I worry.

A million appreciation

With the help of my group assignment partner Zheng Min aka Tzmin, my website finally got a look, making me less work to do on it. Thanks for it, I owe you one.

3 years in the run

To get this started, I must say, I haven't start my HTML... Which is very bad but nothing related to the title.

Follow up, November 18 2008, the release date for Need For Speed Undercover®, where I need to go and collect up my copy at TSB SS2. And it also marks the date of STPM, the very tough General Paper, so called "Pengajian Am", so here I wish good luck and all the best to all my friends that are STPM candidates.

Specifically, here is another shout-out, for the one I loved, Siang Ping... 3 years I've been going after you and waited, just to let you know, I just love you that I don't even realize or mind about it, and so sorry if I ever do something that made you hate me or angry, I really don't mean to make you unhappy, although I always hoped that you will somehow consider about me after this exam; but still here my purpose is to personally wish you fortune, all the best and to say the least, "Ping, you can do it, jiayou~~"

Hopeless Desire

Hopeless desire... It happens on me most of the time... Such as I can list to be study, someone I like, WCG... Talking about WCG, well Malaysia's broadband is too good to play online that most of the time will lag. And friends around me, to say gamers most of them are "Dotards" who play a map call DoTa, others that I taught them how to play are most likely lazy to train up, giving stupid excuses such as homework, but that's how I did it? Well, who doesn't hope to win to achieve things they want without training without pay off? But certainly my friends out there they think this miracle will happen. Well, they have everything that I want, they have someone they like, they studied what they like... That's maybe why they think I am idiot, that can't achieve anything but just gaming when I am alone and not like them got someone to accompany...

Weird Rumors, Real Going On? The Real Is True Without Doubt, But The Rumors?

While recently, there is a rumor spreading around, regarding one of my classmate, where it is spreaded until he is being asked by some of my friends, with some "weird questions" such as "kupas udang" according to him. Well, as in the truth that is not rumors, what I say in the post "3...2...1... Coupled up", I actually mean what I feel... It may refer to so many friends around me that is so true, such KP/PW and etc not to mention too much. But someone else, actually read up that thread, and responded, where I never point it to his name, and say, you are the one I am talking about... But smart people do know what I mean...

And by the way, he is really hardworking about the headache HTML, maybe pro enough to teach me soon...

More and more of my friends around me, even my group assignment team members, the very last and only one already coupled up and found their partner, and I must say.. Doing real good in HTML maybe... Haha

What can I do?

As title, what can I do when friends around me are all blur? What can I do when they are actually just acting blur? What can I do when they not only acting blur but knowing everything that they need even that they don't need? And what can I do now is, let it be... They like to behave 2K attitude that's up to them... I still need to stand on my own... Even I don't have anything they have, ranging from money, knowledge, plenty of A's, the world military top secret, a good nice bf/gf... But, one thing... I regret that I changed to a such "Oscar Award" group

WCG Grand Finale 2009, see you in Chengdu, China

That's it, the World Cyber Games 2008 already over, after the Grand Finale in Cologne, Germany. While it is still long to go for 2009, the next year WCG Grand Finale will be held in Chengdu, China.
So gamers, you can now train up, vote for your favorite games, and give it a shot at next year competition.

At the current moment, HTML assignment can't be done, DTA takes a long time be done, RA3 takes super long or imposible to master before next year WCG perhaps... Why things going this way... And of course, 3 years waiting for someone, can't really get the desired answer...

Red Alert 3 review

After playing for days, I can say... This game AI just too imbalance as if they got map hack on for them. And vs human player, it is like in Las Vegas, where you guess you bet and if you are right you win.

Another end, yet difficult

It is 5 weeks away from the end of semester 1, and it also means the coming of buffer week, also means that after buffer week it is the exam, and the nearest one, the submission of most assignment. UCP aka Using Computer Pakages, doesn't have any exam but only 1 assignment, which the presentation for part 1 is done today, but the next part is what that can took my life, so called web design using HTML. DTA aka Data Analysis, something like math+quantitative methods that we learned before in foudation year, it is the same anyway, but then still facing some good old problem memorizing all those damn long formulas. IBC aka Introductory Business Concept, don't even know what topic included and taught by lecturer, because one slide he can explain up to half an hour, and that's why most people ZZzZzzZ...

So, the outcome... Unpredictable and unimaginable

The presentation for UCP, so called Using Computer Packages... While many groups presented and seems like so fine, but yet my friends gone through a very worse one. This makes me started to think, the earlier groups, are they really so good at it without much criticism from lecturer, or they all just actor/actress aka Oscar winner. Anyway, Dasvedanya...

Reasoning and Knowledge

What is reasoning and what is knowledge?
Knowledge is direct and fast, such as you know 1+1=2
Reasoning is logic, and in a way as sub-knowledge, where there is a procedure you go through to get the answer such as, when given 489765*2354=?, most likely you will need to use a calculator instead of directly giving answer such as 1+1=2

My friend, Tan Khai Phin recently bought some new stuff to be added on his computer, a new motherboard and the very hot HD4870. While this is not the main point in this entry, what important is the knowledge and reasoning in his mindset. For months after teaching him about the RTS game, Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars, I find that his reasoning out-reasoned his knowledge, for one can convert reasoning to gain knowledge by practical+understanding. That is why, he loses easy battle where he should have won. In such RTS, a decent player with knowledge will know on the spot like 1+1=2 what to do to counter or when to attack, while a decent player like my friend with good reasoning will think, I must build this and that to counter that, but then he will think is that a good counter? Or he will ask himself, if I attack now, what if the enemy has too much?

So reasoning and knowledge... It existed and affected much roles in life

Need For Speed Undercover

The Need For Speed series made a return after 1 year, this time is the 12th installment for the NFS series, named NFS Undercover. This title will be released on 18th November 2008, on various platform like PC, PS3, XBox 360, Nintendo DS, Nintendo Wii, even on different mobile phone platform. MAP
Undercover will feature a new "open-world" map consisting of over a hundred miles of road and a large highway system making it the largest need for speed open world environment EA has ever created. The map is of a fictional city based on the American West Coast cities. The city is called Tri-City, and consists of four boroughs called Palm Harbor, Port Cresent, Gold Coast Mountains, and Sunset Hills.

Plot
The NFS Undercover's story mode sets the player in the story as a police officer going undercover into the criminal underground of Tri-City, a fictional city where the game is set. Players will take on dangerous jobs and compete in races in order to infiltrate and take down a ruthless international crime smuggling syndicate of street racers and car thieves. The player's only contact to the police is federal handler Chase Linh, played by Maggie Q.
