It is in this unforgettable competition, I made my most important mark. Not even WCG 2008 would serve me this deep…
Recalling back… Really thanks to Potato @ Yu Peng and Charles for accompanying me to competition, even participated in it although they are quite unwilling… Due to unfamiliarity with the games which is Kane’s Wrath, and also all sorts of famed opponent, ranging all the [r0r1] clan members, to the freelance Holyboy, and the Singapore champion Ravana @ Dennis Ooi, the hardcore Nod player.
The replays pack for all of them still kept intact with me all within a zip file… That would do well…
Charles is a bit unlucky due to same group during group stage knockout with Ravana… I didn’t quite remembered Potato’s fate but he did proceed further…
And the mark is where Me vs Ravana during the top 8. First map I chosen Tournament Tower, typical Nod vs Nod… Where I emerge victorious. Second map Ravana chosen his favorite Tournament Decision, this is the mark and also the pain deep in my memory, just a mere distraction, just mere 0.5 seconds more, and Ravana is defeated and sent to loser brackets. But losing is still losing… And third match referee chosen Tournament Dustbowl, Ravana used my anti-ordinary mindset which I always applied on Pipeline Problems, and I wasn’t aware going for Shadow Team to secure both spikes, while Ravana twisted the ordinary way and go for all in bike rush… GG for me within 4 minutes.
The second match is where all players watching, hoping there is finally a Malaysian to win Ravana for true… But still I failed it just in that few seconds timing. But still being the first to clinch a single win from him, is what I never dreamed of… And being credited by him during interview, as the most toughest player he met.
Damn… Finding back all those intense micro skills feeling just good…
